CEREC Restorations– Porcelain Onlays

If you have a large filling but not large enough to warrant placing a crown, then this filling can be made out of porcelain. No longer do you have to have fillings made of silver amalgam. This tooth colored restoration is usually milled out of a block of porcelain to fit your tooth exactly and then is bonded into your tooth. These restorations are milled by a machine (CAD/CAM), and so they can be made in a day.
